My Online course
I’ve created this course that takes seniors looking for companionship through the dating process. It’s a step-by-step guide that answers all the questions that I’ve heard while teaching older folks how to expand their social circle, including by dating. The course features videos and downloadable questions-to-ponder to enhance the learning experience, making it easy to understand and implement in daily life. The twelve episodes in the course cover a range of topics including preparing yourself for the dating process, finding ways to expand your social circle, and even putting up an online profile safely, if that’s the route you choose. My goal is to give you all the tools you’ll need to find new companions and enhance your lifestyle.
Based on real experience
I have lots of personal experience since I’ve been single and dating for the last 30 years. Two of my online relationships had been long-term, including the last, tragically interrupted one. Because of my success with dating, I kept getting requests from friends about how they too could succeed in the dating game, which was the origin of this course. This course is for those who find themselves without a mate in their latter years and are considering seeking one. Whether you’ve been alone for a long time, divorced or recently lost your partner, there is no shame in seeking companionship. The lessons are meant to provide you with the pros and cons, dos and don’ts, my personal experiences, and enough information to help you make decisions along the way. The facts that I include are from articles about research by reputable organizations conducted within five years of this course’s publication, unless otherwise stated.
If you decide not to date
I even include a lesson on living options for those who ultimately decide not to date. The checklists and assessments at the end of each lesson are meant to clarify your thoughts about the ideas in each lesson. Looking deep within and answering honestly, will help you make the choices that feel right for you.
